multiple news organizations are now reporting that trump advisers communicated with senior russian intelligence officials during the presidential campaign. according to c-n-n high level advisers to the then-republican nominee were in constant communication with moscow. they were intercepted by routine intelligence collection. this all comes amid a series of moves by russia seen by some as provocative. right now a russian spy ship is moving up the east coast in international waters. the ship, seen here in cuba, can intercept radio and radar communications. its movement comes amid reports russia deployed a medium-range cruise missile in violation of a 19-87 arms treaty. the f-b-i is investigating the communications with russia. but there's been no word about the content. more questions are being raised, following the resignation of

adviser.. general michael flynn. he was forced to resign after what the administration calls "an erosion of trust." at issue: flynn's phone call with the russian ambassador to the u.s. before the inauguration. the two appeared to have discussed u.s. sanctions on russia. questions are persisting about why it took mr. trump weeks to oust flynn after learning he misled the vice president about his phone conversations with the russian ambassador. an update on a fairfax county teen who disappeared january 15th.. 17 year old venus iraheta home last night unharmed just hours after police put out an alert to find out. detectives are now talking to her another case. the body of her friend, 15-year-old damaris rivas, was found saturday in springfield. police believe she was murdered.. and they believe a gang was involved. much more on this coming up in a live report.

but given permission to stay in the country under president obama's dreamer program is under arrest this morning. daniel ramirez medina was arrested friday at his father's home in seattle. the 23-year old who has no criminal record -- was reportedly given permission to live and work legally in the country through daca. the program was meant to protect qualified individuals from deportation. immmigrant rights groups say medina i

with daca status. two-hundred thousand residents are back home after evacuating this week in california. evacuations were ordered after officials found holes in the oroville dam. a collapse could of sent a 30-foot wall of water rushing into three counties. crews are now working to fix that hole before a storm system hits the area. officials say the wall will be able to withstand the storm. it was a rough morning yesterday for people along the texas gulf coast. several tornadoes touched down just before eight-30 local time. at least seven people were hurt when the storms destroyed homes and flipped over vehicles south of galveston. the severe weather spawned at least one water-spout. there are no reports of any deaths associated with the storms. for new moms, the pressure to give their babies the best nutrition possible can be overwhelming. many are told they should breastfeed - but what happens when you aren't physically able to do so? abc's danya bacchus

assasination of north korean leader kim jong un's half brother. jummy olabanji is at the live desk. malaysian police say a woman has been arrested in connection with the death of kim jong nam. she was carrying vietnamese travel documents. mister kim died monday after an attack at the kuala lumpur airport. malaysian police say before he died.. that he had been sprayed with some kind of poison. for two women seen on surveillance cameras near him at the airport and then leaving the scene in a taxi. it's unclear if the woman arrested is one of them. no motive for the attack has been confirmed. but some sources are saying north korea may have been behind the attack. developing now.. military officials say russia has deployed a cruise missile in an

police responded just after 1 a.m. after a vehicle crashed on i-395. the car reportedly broke through the guardrail, and ended up crashing to the road below near the pentagon parking lot. we have learned that one person was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. the crash is still under investigation. we'll have a live report coming up in the next fifteen minutes. we are learning more about the death of a lyft driver, discovered inside his car in acokeek. we have been following this story since monday night. police say timothy sherod was shot in his car, but they have not released any details about a possible suspect. and now-- his father is pleading for answers. the 28-year-old also

uber.... worked full time for amtrak. some immigration advocates in prince william county are making their voices heard. they showed up at a board of supervisors meeting last night, to protest a move by board chairman corey stewart. last week, he held a news conference. he asked the trump administration to remove the 75-hundred criminal illegal immigrants that officials have handed over to ice over the past 10 years. the protesters say it's not fair to call for their deportion. stewart is running for governor of virginia. this comes - ahead of another protest. tomorrow - some of the hottest restaurants in the d-c region will be closing their doors to show support for immigrant workers. and new this morning we're hearing from one of d-c's best known chefs. jummy olabanji is at live desk with more.
